After
purchasing his first set of decks in 93, Matt was soon playing at private
parties/functions whenever and wherever the opportunity arose.
In 95, Feeling Good was born, a club night playing various venues throughout
Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area. In no time at all, bookings increased
and collaborations started, which led to hosting the second room at the
Whitehouse, Newmarket, supporting Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson
in the main room, which Honeytrap Promotions pronounced was a huge success.
In 2001, invitations had come from as far a field as the French Alps,
which enabled Matt to combine his two passions of music and snowboarding,
playing clubs in Val d’Isere, Tignes and L’Alpe d’Huez.
2005 was another fruitful
year, securing his residency at the Fountain in Cambridge City Centre,
playing other bars in the French Alps, and joining the UK-DJ’s agency.
Matt's musical style
includes vocal house with a funky edge, but also soulful house and club
classics.
